What we collect
Nothing by default. Reading this site requires no account and sets no tracking cookies.
Analytics
We use Plausible, a privacy-focused analytics service that does not use cookies and does not collect personal data. It records page views and referrers in aggregate.
Correction form
If you send a correction, we store the message and, if you provide one, your email address, only so we can reply. We do not share it and we do not add you to any list.
Email lists
When newsletters launch they will use double opt-in and every message will carry an unsubscribe link.
Maps
Map tiles are loaded from OpenTopoMap when you scroll to a map. Your browser sends its IP address to that server as part of the request, as with any image.
